Art is not just a hobby for me. It encompasses who I am at my very core.

 

I create art. I share art. I am art.

 

I cant remember a time in my life when I wasn't doing something creative. I stared working as an artist very young. I had the opportunity to volunteer in a sign shop when I was just 12 years old. I saw first hand just how amazing it is to take an idea and turn it into a piece of art, and then see that art on the side on a building or on a freeway billboard. I spent a lot of that time learning how to run different Graphix programs, it didn't take long for me to become completely hooked! I spent my high school years enjoying art class and getting familiar with art shows. A few years later I had another wonderful opportunity, at 16 I was the youngest student ever admitted into this amazing animation trade school. It was there where my creativity soared. Having an idea, sketching  it on paper then making it digital and see the finished 3D Animation still amazes me! It was one of my favorite experiences. From that experience I landed an internship with a 3D Amination studio where I got to be a part of making a video game. That was fun! I then went to Art school, where my skills really came to life. I studied Photography, Digital Art, Ceramics, Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Design, Websites, Graphic arts, business and advertising. I realized there was no way that I could pick just one type of art field to go into. I love it all way too much! 

 

So in 2008 Surfindago was born. It was then where I really shined. Utilizing all of the skills I learned from my mother, the internships, and art school. I set out to do what I love, make art!
